Giving the gift of Warmth

The cold weather is rolling in and it’s time for our 2nd annual Gift of Warmth Blanket Presentation at The Salvation Army Center of Hope Lobby in Tyler, Texas. This event will take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10:00am and everyone is invited to join us!

Todd Green, the owner of East Texas Refrigeration (ETR), along with Major Ben Lawrence, Commanding Officer of The Salvation Army Tyler, will give a few words of appreciation during the presentation.

The blanket drive isn’t over yet and we still need your help to reach our goal! Every year The Salvation Army in Tyler needs on average 2,000 new blankets between the months of November and February. Click the link below to make a donation online to help us collect 200 new blankets by December 18, 2013.

East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) will match every donation made by an ETR customer to the Gift of Warmth project, and every $15 donated buys one new blanket for a community member in need. Help spread the gift of warmth throughout the Tyler community in time for Christmas. Don’t forget to write-in “ETR Gift of Warmth Tyler” in the Specific Use section of the donation page.

In addition to collecting 200 blankets for The Salvation Army this year, ETR is donating and installing a central Heating and AC System into Habitat for Humanity of Smith County’s 100th Home!

New blankets can be dropped off at East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or The Salvation Army of Tyler, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Remember to tell The Salvation Army that your blanket is for ETR’s Gift of Warmth project!
